How I mange my POD shops, Website and Social Media…..

I have five print on demand sites, a website, a blog, all the social media to go along with that…. seems like a lot of right? How do I manage it? It started with Redbubble. Redbubble was my first POD shop. I have been with this site for a little around three and a half years. I wanted to build up my portfolio with this site and get the feel for how Print on Demand sites work. I did exactly that, as soon as I felt I got the hang of it and had a decent portfolio going….. I started a Society6 shop. Then after a while I added a…

    What is #Artvsartist?

The hashtag #ArtvsArtist is once again trending on social media. What is it? Basically, its a grid of nine photos, eight of your favorite works that you are proud to show off and they represent you! The ninth photo is a photo of yourself. Its “mini-portfolio”. Showing off some of my photography, favorite digital artworks that I have currently done, some Society6 and Redbubble products. Also featuring my t-shirt from Teepublic and my website critic. Yours…

    Support independent artists

I came across this image on Facebook. Why you should support independent artists?? I have heard this ton of times. “Being an artist isn’t a job” Yes it is! Being an artist is allowing yourself to be your own boss. Think about it. There is no set schedule. No 9-5 hours. You set the hours. You still have to manage your time though…. if you spend too much time working then all of your ideas will run into Artist Block. You can’t be creative all the time….take a break and go look for inspiration. An artist can essentially work anywhere in the world. You don’t have to go to the…

    Artists Guide to Social Media

Truth be told I’m not a social person but the one thing I have learned from sharing my artwork with the world is that if I believe in my art others will to. My art accounts don’t have a huge following but I have learned some tips since I started my brand a few years ago. Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest are my go to accounts. Instagram My Instagram isn’t exactly organized but I share what I like. I share a variety of products from my shops, current projects as well throwback art projects. I use the daily hashtags in my posts, such as #catuday and #wisdomwensday. Other things you can…
